My First Apartment on My Own

I have never been more than 40 miles from my home up until I graduated from college. I went to school here, and all of my family lived within 40 miles. When I graduated from school, I put in applications all over the place. I was hired on at a company that is nearly 100 miles away, and there was just no way I was going to have a three hour commute each day. I knew that I was going to have to find a new apartment, so I did a search for apartments near Marietta GA.

I figured the best way to find a place in a city that I was not familiar with at all was to go online and learn everything that I could. That is how I found the nice apartments near Marietta GA, which was exactly what I was looking for. It was affordable, and it is only about six minutes from where I now work. While those two things are definitely nice, there is so much more to this apartment complex that has me really enjoying living here. I love the actual layout of the apartment, and I had so much fun buying furniture and decorations for it.

Out of everything here, my favorite thing is the private patio. The house I grew up in did not have one, nor did any of my friends at their houses. I thought it was a cool feature, but it has turned into my favorite spot when I am home and just relaxing. I have a chaise lounger and a small table out there, and I love to just take my books out there and veg when the weather is nice. The view is simply gorgeous too, and I really like everything about it here. My parents do too, when they come and visit me, which is pretty often!
